Kids and Teens on Reality TV
TLC's new show "Cheer Perfection" features the lives of young cheerleaders and their mothers who put their daughters in the spotlight. Coach Alicia and two of the mothers on the show defend their tough love attitude toward the girls. Later, the girls surprise Jeff with a special cheer and tumbling routine. Plus, Josh Shipp of Lifetime's "Teen Trouble" recounts the events of his difficult childhood and how he now uses those experiences to help other at-risk youth. Josh is also surprised to re-connect with Asmara, who explains how she was saved by the teen counselor.
