The Girl With Sleeping Beauty Syndrome
Jeff meets people battling some of the rarest medical conditions in the world. They include 17-year-old Nicole, who has Kleine-Levin Syndrome, also known as Sleeping Beauty Syndrome, which causes her to sleep up to 17 hours a day for weeks at a time. Jeff also meets 12-year-old Gabby, who lacks the ability to feel pain, and 5-year-old Ali, whose family is racing against the clock to save her from a disease called FOP, or Stone Man Syndrome, which is slowly turning all her muscles to bone. Plus, Jeff talks with a woman who developed a baffling medical condition after a trip to the dentist.
