Could You Make a New Friend Everyday?

Originally Aired 9/21/12 | Tagged:    Full Episode

Making one new friend can be difficult. How about making 365? Maria Scileppi challenged herself to make a new friend every day for a year - and documented the entire process. For 14 years, writer A.J. Jacobs has been conducting experiments, like living strictly by biblical rules or doing everything his wife tells him to do, and he tells Jeff what he's learned from these drastic and bizarre scenarios. Blogger Colin Wright puts his future in the public's hands. He moves to a new country every four months, and the country he goes to is selected by the readers on his blog. He joins Jeff via Skype from his current home in Romania, and reveals how his travels have changed his life. An unsuspecting guest gets an "Ambush Adventure."  Also, "Guys on the Couch" features Jeff plus two guys who answer questions from women in the audience.
